The food was hot. But it was flavorless. I expect so much more from Carribean food. There were a lot of sticks in my rice and peas. I've been told this is the traditional way however I have never had it that way - not in Toronto, KW or Jamaica - so it was painful (at first) and off putting. The coleslaw was a soup and extremely sweet.
The service was basic. I asked if the meats came in a combo because it's not indicated on the menu. They replied with "what do you want"? I was given my food, cashed out and that was the extent of verbal exchange.
It was the end of the day so it was very dirty, but in the part of town it's in that seems common. I didn't look too much into it.
There are other places that I would prefer over Potluck.

I ordered the curried goat with rice and peas for my daughter, along with festivals, and chicken roti.
The festivals, plantains, along with the curry goat with rice and peas were very good. Portion size was very good as well.
Unfortunately had to give a 3 due to my daughter finding a hair strand in the rice My daughter could no longer finish her food, which was a major disappointment
The food was packaged well which maintained its warmth upon delivery by the Uber driver.

LOVE Potluck and their staff! If you’re looking for any place to get quality Jamaican food look no further. 1000/10 would recommend Enjoyed their oxtail dish today with a side of plantains all for only $20 and everything was done perfectly as per usual

First, the rice and peas here is really good. It's usually too dry in a lot of other restaurants. Having said that, the meat (Jerk chicken) was overcooked, which rendered about half of it inedible. The prices are quite reasonable, and the staff member was cordial. I want to give them another try, so I will re-vist and try the same meal in a week or two. I will post an update when I do.

Busy in there. My partner and I were super kind, super respectful, the lady serving us our meal gave my partner and I the WORST attitude I have ever experienced. There were only 2 customers in there and she did not give us an OUNCE of respect, we were just hungry. Never coming here again. I have never had a food service worker roll their eyes at me. Unacceptable.
