My fiancée and I have been driving by Charm's Jerk Hut for a while now and have been wanting to try it. We are so happy we did. We both got a Large Jerk Chicken meal with coleslaw to go. Super friendly service even showed us the food before we left. Let me say the portion size was huge, we had saved some for breakfast the next morning. We will definitely be going back.

I live Scarborough I guess we are spoiled with good west indian Food. I'm just visiting Niagara. First and last time ordering here. I ordered 2 large curry chicken meals and they gave barely any curry. I get it was an hour before closing but damn they gotta short me on knowingly. The curry just tasted ok too. Served a mountain of rice 1/8th portion of curry to go with the entire serving. I ordered 2 patties that was the only somewhat acceptable part of the order. $50 wasted.

I was in the area and thought of trying Jamaican food. Their macaroni salad is really great! I am not keen on macaroni salads generally but u won’t be disappointed with their salad! And chicken roti was one the best ones that I have ever eaten! It wasn’t very saucy and flavours were just great! It’s a really no frills kind of a place and if ure in for authentic flavours then it’s a must try!
No air conditioning so keep in mind for hot days! Very friendly staff!

The only reason why I am giving a two star rating for this restaurant and not a one is the because the food actually had flavor I called to place my order and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and let me know she’s very busy I was shocked because I was calling to place an order as a customer bringing you business and long story short, I placed the order I came into the restaurant already she created a Uncomfortable atmosphere. By the way she looked at me. I told her I wanted to drink. She seemed very very upset. If you’re serving the population you need to know that you need to act a certain way. Because they are bringing your business if you don’t like working with the public, we should not stay in business the food had flavor the cabbage was disgusting. It was just shredded cabbage and carrots, and seems like they didn’t even have time to steam it. I would never recommend this place, but I wouldn’t recommend it so that that lady can adjust her attitude. Mind you I paid $22 or literally five pieces of oxtail.

I walked into the restaurant and there was a group of people sitting down talking, that's not an issue but it wasn't welcoming at all. I ordered a jerk chicken meal for $15.49 which is a bit pricey for jerk chicken but I still bought it. I also asked for a gizzada. When it was time to pay it came up to $22, and I didn't even get the snack I asked for. How does $15.49 with taxes come up to $22? I'm so confused. Then I went home upset about my purchase only to eat the jerk chicken and it taste like vinegar. It was absolutely disgusting. It was so sour. I couldn't even eat it. So there goes a waste of my $22. I do not recommend this place. The staff was not welcoming, they did not listen to my wants and they're overpriced. I might as well just make my hour and 45-minute trip to Toronto to get jerk chicken cuz this place was not it.

I was actually quite disappointed with the food here. My boyfriend & I had high hopes in trying this place for the first time and we were extremely disappointed. There was barely any gravy on the oxtail, not to mention the portions were small. It almost had an after taste like it was freezer burnt. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, but I will stick to my normal restaurant, chubbies on Victoria!
