I ordered 3 large ackee & saltfish and 2 porridge via SKIP the Dishes. I received VERY VERY small
portions of ackee n saltfish and only 1 porridge! it was as if it was the last of the batch of ackee and they didn’t want to make more. I have ordered from this restaurant several times! Never received like this. I paid a lot for the order. If you don’t have enough then contact SKIP and let them know to offer a substitute! Very disappointing

"Caribbean Queen is a gem! The Jamaican food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are fair considering the generous portions. The restaurant is spotless, and the staff is hardworking. The owner is particularly noteworthy - friendly, respectful, and clearly passionate about sharing their culture through food. One area for improvement is with one staff member who could benefit from a warmer demeanor; a smile and more welcoming attitude would make a big difference in making customers feel at ease. Nonetheless, the food and overall experience shine through, and I highly recommend Caribbean Queen for its excellent cuisine and great value. We'll be back!"

The food was extremely disappointing. I placed a large order through Uber Eats, and the quality was far below expectations. The ackee and saltfish dish contained plenty of ackee but not a single piece of saltfish. The curry chicken was bland, lacking any seasoning, and the sauce had a watery consistency. As for the rum cake, it was completely squished in the packaging they provided. They could have easily placed it in a sturdier container. If you're thinking of ordering from here, please don't—save yourself the disappointment.

I came here for my birthday breakfast and I’m so glad I did. A Jamaican buffet is almost unheard of and it’s a blessing that this place exists. A generous selection of offerings such as curry goat, fried/jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish, fried dumplin, provision, hot porridge, rice and peas, AND oxtail?? Come on now, try this place out if you can. I like how the owner came to greet us and made us feel comfortable. Was about $20 all you can eat and was full for hours. Worth the 1+ hour drive.

I dug in to the first plate so fast I forgot to take a better picture.
This food is absolutely delicious! Made with love, by friendly staff.
Come early so you get the most selection, they make everything fresh everyday and when it runs out, it runs out. They have gloves to serve so it's very clean. Cuts down on waste and everything stays delicious. Their sit down buffet ends at 7 30, but the remaining stuff is available for cheap take out buffet till 9. Worth the trip!

Came across this place on Tiktok and drove from Hamilton on an early Tuesday afternoon. No regrets at all. The staff was welcoming, food was warm and delicious, and the buffet offered a great selection. A few others were dining in with us at the time, but there were quite a bit of people ordering breakfast specials (GREAT value) or the buffet for takeout. I recommend coming after 11am close to lunch time, as they started bringing out brunch items (jerk chicken, fried chicken, etc.) during that time. We had come early around 10am for the breakfast buffet, but will return for brunch. I will definitely be making the trek over again - this place is a hidden gem with great value.

The food is good and at a reasonable price compared to their sister location just 2 mins drive away. The bad thing is they keep running out of major hot selling items like oxtail and curry goat by 4:30-5pm in the afternoon which should be peak time when everyone leaves work. Their customer service is horrible, typical attitude staring you down in your face instead of asking what you would like to order. My family orders from them all the time yet they continue to show bad face to each of our members every time we go in. Won’t be getting my hard-earned anymore. Not sure how they maintain a 4 star rating based on their lack of customer service alone.
