Tried this place for the first time and was not disappointed! The jerk chicken was delicious, would have preferred more sauce but that’s fine. Curry goat was even more delicious than the chicken, it came with a good amount of curry. The meat was cooked and seasoned well. Both came with coleslaw and a side of plantain. The tropical salad with mango dressing also tasted good; bonus points for the grated fresh coconut on top! Their prices are fair too for the quantity and I’d say we got 1.5 meals out of the food.

Had the oxtail, first time ever trying oxtail. Needless to say but it won't be my last! Absolutely delicious. The meat was super flavorful and melted in my mouth. The sauce was rich and had deep beef flavor. The rice was delicious and full of beans. The plantains were done perfectly. Lastly the coleslaw was a nice compliment with a lovely black pepper taste. Super friendly service in a small restaurant. Highly recommend

Best Caribbean homestyle food on this side of the ocean!
We keep going back for the oxtail and the jerk chicken roti. Portions are very generous (if you know me and my appetite, this is quite a feat indeed...) and the meat/rice ratio is perfect.
Oxtail is also well prepared which makes everything melt off the bones. Flavours are out of this world and genuinely Jamaican. No whitewashing here!

Call to place order, food will always be ready in 10-15 minutes. We only ever order the curry goat platter, oxtail platter, or jerk chicken roti. As good as the carribean food Ive had in the west end of toronto.
My favourite part? the homemade fruit punch, $5 and worth every penny. In general, portion sizes are large, enough leftovers for lunch most time

Why would I eat at a place I walk into and the worker blatantly ignores you while they try to turn on a TV.

The value for money is awesome. I ordered their jerk chicken roti and it was awesome. Just the right amount of spicy. The atmosphere feels nice and familiar and the customers are from every slice of society.
