Went for takeout last night. Extremely flavourful, incredible value for money (portions are BIG), the owner is the chef. The smell that greets you from the street is enough to make you drool, then you walk in and it's even better. Jerk chicken (mild) was good. The goat stew, oh gosh. I had it with rice and beans, and it was the perfect compliment. Sides of flavourful cabbage and baked mac n cheese. TRY THIS PLACE!!

I really want to like this place. Super excited to see it open and I love Jamaican food. We tried the jerk chicken . Could not eat it. Seemed to be cooked in a slow cooker. flavour was not jerk. No spice at all and it was mostly bone with rubber skin. Really nice owners, cool design inside but the jerk was..... I will give it another chance, we went the first week it was open.

Very excited to have this spot open in Chesley. Have been a couple times now. Have had the jerk chicken and jerk pork. Found the jerk pork to be very delicious, highly recommended. Not very spicy though even though we requested spicy. The curry goat was very nice as well. Patties are great. Service was very friendly. Would recommend clearer menu board as to what options and specials they have.
Looking forward to going back and trying something new.

Great food, the guy that runs the place is super friendly (he even brought over seconds no charge), prices good. I'd highly recommend going. We went back the very next day too

I've been looking forward to trying the food at Gimmie dat restaurant and I must say, I'm glad I did because the food was so delicious , perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing. I'm definitely going back. Also the service was really great and friendly atmosphere.

Good Oxtail and Chicken Curry. Patties were solid as well. Will return to try other dishes!
