The food here was extremely authentic! I tried several of their dishes and was very impressed. Flavour was on point. My favourite was the barbefried chicken. This took me way back to local restaurant flavours from Jamaica! Customer service from the server was also awesome. The chef came out to check on us and make sure everything was good. I will definitely be returning.

The food was delicious, and service was great! We had a family dinner there this evening, and we all plan on going back! Between the bunch of us, we tried many different things, and nothing disappointed. One of our unexpected favorites (unfortunately, only my husband ordered it as his side and our 2 year old ate almost all of it) was the mac pie... not what we expected, but absolutely delicious! We will be ordering more of that next time!

I had the jerk chicken (because obviously), and let me tell you—it was smoky, spicy, and absolutely perfect. The rice and peas? Fluffy and full of flavor. The festival bread? Like a warm hug from a Caribbean grandma. Even the plantains were showing off.
Service was super friendly—like, “you’re-family-now” friendly—and everything came out hot and fresh. Bonus points for the reggae playlist in the background and the tropical drinks that made me feel like I was on vacation… without the airport security line.

Listen....listen! This place is an absolute gem. This place is special. From the moment you get inside you are greeted with the most hospitality. I asked ehat would be the meal of choice for a first time patron, and it was a resounding jerk chicken answer. I took him at his word even though I've tried jerk chicken from over 200 places in Ontario and haven't been super impressed. Well let me tell you that i was wowed beyind belief. This isn't just jerk chicken, it's done on a traditional coal bbq so that you get all the authentic Jamaican flavours. The portions are big, but the smiles are even bigger. When you go, just ask for Kavry. He's a beautiful person.

Last week, we went for a family outing as an early Father's Day celebration dinner here at Yardie Vibez. I am a driver for EzeFood, and everytime I pick up at this restaurant I am always impressed and happy to go in there. They are such good people, and the food they make and serve is INCREDIBLE! I just had to finally try it, and this is where we wanted to go for Father's Day.
When we were dining, it turned out to be the owner who was waiting our table and serving the 9 of us. Such a caring and thoughtful guy, and their service here is top-notch!
The Atmosphere is welcoming and positive, and it is all kept clean and with emphasis on their culture.
Quality of food and authenticity is incomparable! That was some of the best cultural food I have ever had. So much quality and portion for the money, and all is very rich in flavour.
Highly recommend for anyone! This place is a must-try!

Incredible food and amazing service!! We had the pulled pork egg rolls and Jamaican patties, which are some of the best I’ve had! He gave me the coco bread to try with it and it was 10/10!! Can’t recommend them enough!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Best Jamaican food in Chatham! Food is excellent. Get the EGG ROLLS! Both Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork are delicious (pork is a bit spicier/hotter than the chicken, if that's what you prefer). Comfortable and casual vibe. Lots of Jamaican influences in decor. Servers are excellent and service is quick!

Had quite a few options including the jerk meatloaf and the Mac n cheese with the jerk pulled pork. Both were absolutely delicious. Also tried the veggie eggrolls and plantain, also delicious. Even my picky eater was super happy! We loved the whole vibe, felt very welcoming and comfortable. The chairs were so comfortable we almost didn’t want to leave! Definitely will be going back soon!!
